Ramsden and Riding Wood reservoirs have some of the most beautiful countryside views and are a lovely place to wander. Wood Edge car park on Low Platt Lane has a height barrier (1.8m) and is locked at 6pm. It's a small car park that was full on my return, around a dozen cars. A beautiful reservoir just above Yateholme, Holmfirth. This Ramsden reservoir circular walk is one of my favourites to do, especially when the bluebells are out!
